biography

As an Irish painter, I suppose it's inevitable that I'm drawn to landscape work.
However, I generally concentrate on the areas where land meets water - such as riverbanks,
riverbeds, beaches & shorelines. My paintings are an exploration of these areas and
my response to the interaction of the elements there.
Lately I've been very interested in exploring the concept of time in my work by using themes
based on erosion & the sea tides.
